Dr. Acevedo received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with Minors in Spanish and Biology, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She takes a strong approach to working with her team and the pet owners to both educate and provide the best life-long preventative care plan for each patient. Professionally, she is passionate about preventative medicine and dermatology. Personally, Dr. Acevedo finds fulfillment in travel and trying new foods, time with family and friends, and her faith. She has two young sons, and she and her husband enjoy taking their family to new places and experiencing new foods. The Acevedo family has a giant Oscar fish named Poncho, who is well known for being the cranky one of the bunch.
