Dr. Katherine Iguina received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of PR in Mayaguez and taught Animal Science to the 1st year Pre-Veterinarian Students during that time. She obtained her Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Medicine from St. Matthew’s University in the Cayman Islands and finished her clinical year at the University of Minnesota. During her student years she worked as a volunteer at a Dolphinarium, Aquarium and worked with Farm Animals. Dr. Iguina previously worked in private practice at both single and multiple doctor private/emergency practices in SC and GA. She has special interests in Internal Medicine, Dermatology and Behavior. She belongs to several memberships including the American Veterinary Medical Association and Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Iguina is originally from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico and Spanish is her primary language. Currently she lives in Dacula GA, with her husband Michael, her beautiful daughter Valentina, and her special doggy Rocky. Outside work Dr. Iguina is a very spiritual person that enjoys Nature, dancing with her husband, especially to Latin music, going to the beach, cooking, reading, exercising, spending time with her family and traveling. Also, but not least, not only she is a Small Animal Veterinarian, she also is an Entrepreneur. She has her own Fashion Well-Being Jewelry E-commerce Business called Solylunadesigns, in which she expresses her creativity and passion for Jewelry, Crystal Energy and Nature. Dr. Iguina is a strong believer that you can achieve anything in the world if you work hard and always give your Best in all aspects of Life.
