Dr. Jackman received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine following dual bachelors degrees in Animal Science and Marine Biology. She possesses a strong passion for rehabilitation and actively looks for new solutions and various treatment options to provide pets and pet parents the best options for care. She adopts a unique approach to each patient and take things step by step to ensure complete and individualized care. Dr. Jackman takes time to educate pet parents about their pet’s care, nutrition, and any preventative steps that can be taken.
In her free time, Dr. Jackman enjoys crafting and DIY projects in various mediums and is an avid foodie. She is passionate about cooking and trying new foods, whether at home or traveling. You can always find a myriad of animals around her, including her 2 Dobermans, a sphinx cat, 2 bearded dragons, and a red eared slider (all she’s missing is her favorite animal, a sloth!).
