Dr. Sarah Owen was born and raised in Houston, TX. She graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX, with a Bachelors in Science.
She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in the West Indies and lived there in the Caribbean for 3 years.
For her clinical year of veterinary school, she attended Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine. While in school, she trained in veterinary acupuncture for small animals through the Chi Institute in Florida.
Dr. Owen is committed to empowering pet owners and thoroughly enjoys forming a relationship with her wonderful patients and their pet parents.
Her areas of interest are dermatology, preventative care, and surgery. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys exploring new restaurants in the Houston area, painting, and taking care of her many plants. Dr. Owen shares her home with her fiance, two dogs, one cat, and two snakes.
Dr. Kahan is also the proud pet parent to 3 English Bulldogs
